Capital Gains Tax HQ is operated by Ellul Solutions Ltd. This page explains what happens to information submitted on this site.

What we collect and why

The enquiry form takes only what is typed into it: what was sold, roughly what the gain is, the state you file in, a name and an email address. Its single purpose is putting the question to an adviser. Page usage is counted in aggregate, without cookies and without any identifier that could point at a person.

Legal basis and sharing

With your consent, given on the form, we share your enquiry with tax advisers who handle gains of that size, so they can reply to you. We share it with nobody else and we do not sell enquiry data to list brokers.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Aggregate statistics that identify nobody are kept indefinitely.

This site uses cookieless, aggregate analytics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no consent banner needed.
